Hello VOLVO people, I have A B18B and am installing a pair of 40 DCOE'S with a
MISAB manifold. The problem is that I have to pull the rings out of the head in order to fit the manifold flush with the head, as the manifold is not machined to accept the rings.
If I leave the rings out than there is a gap, which I assume will disrupt air flow. I am thinking about securing the rings in an old block and carefully grinding them down flush with the head. this would leave me with rings to fill the gap. any thoughts?? mayby the manifold is incorrect? MISAB 583003
