Heater Motor 444-544 1964

Hello ...... Has anyone had the experience of removing the metal "squirrel cage" from the 12V motor on the Heater assembly ???

I've been busy using penetrating, (rust remover) on mine, and it is still tight.
No visible set screws, etc.
