The B18 in my 220 (4-speed) burns some oil. Otherwise it starts up every time. I am in no rush to replace the motor, but I think that day is coming. Might be a year or two away, but I like to prepare.

I know the B20 drops in with the same mounts/starter/flywheel/bell housing/etc... But what are my other choices? I saw a B23FT for sale, and its a red block, but not sure that or other later and somewhat larger motors will work.

I am not looking to spend a ton on an engine, but looking for more torque. I don't need a high HP screamer. What are my options?
