O.K. I have been chasing a vibration in my 84 244ti for quit some time now. You can feel it at idle sitting in neutral. Bring the RPM's up from 850 in steps of 100 to 2400RPM's and the vibration is felt through steering wheel,brake peddle,clutch, shifter and body.This is not a shimmy in the steering wheel it's a vibration.
It's bad enough that after a 20 min. drive you hands are tired. I have checked for anything loose and tightened it or repaired it.
Replaced-
1. All belts
2.All Bushings for Alt.,P.S.and A.C., all brackets are tight and no cracks.
3.Also took of each of above and ran engine to see if any of these components where defective.None where.
3. Went through exhaust and adjusted/tightened and it was O.K.

Doesn't get any worse while driving other then as stated above in higher RPM's.
Any Idea's?
