Dead blower motor coming back to life ... 200 86

Well this was a rather strange suprise ...

Having been dead for nearly 3 months, I've ruled out the electrical, the switch, and the resistor pack (DMM check). But earlier today I flipped the switch to 4 (something I tried at least once a week, just to make sure), and it actually started blowing! Slow, at about speed 2, but blowing, nonetheless. If even for just the 10 minutes to get my lunch, I guess it was a glimmer of hope that I might not have to rip the bloody thing out and may be able to shortcut with the oil-hole-in-the-side trick.

It didn't work after I came back out from lunch, BTW.

-- Kane ... who took that as an excuse for buying the 745Ti.
