What is maximum crusing speed for B230F? 700 1992

I have a mint condition 1992 740 with 125,000 miles. The engine displays only the slightest #1 piston slap when starting from cold which goes away after about a minute. The valves are adjusted and have new "cushers", but otherwise the engine has had only routine maintenance. It's running on Mobil1 and burns none. The transmission fluid has been flushed completey and is clear.

Now it seems to me that quite a few of these cars must have made their way to various spots in Europe, notably Germany, so I was wondering just how fast these things could be driven continuously without risk of causing engine or transmission damage or excessive wear.

In aircraft piston engines, a common rule of thumb is that an engine can be run at 75% of its maximum power output for 2000 hours before it needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

Would running *my* old B230F at 100mph for three hours do any appreciable damage? What about 115mph, which is top speed for the 740? What about the drivetrain?
