Failed emissions in Georgia.. 700 1987

I have a 1987 740 GLE 150K miles,runs great but just failed Georgia emissions test. Any ideas appreciated.The Inspection report shows:

Reading Allowable result

HC-ppm 119 174 Pass

Co-% 0.56 1.12 Pass

No-ppm 1725 1258 FAIL

RPM 2193 0000-3000 Pass

CO+C02 % 14.9 6.0 MIN. Pass

Catalytic converter-Pass Gas cap Pass

I have a great honest mechanic who ran it twice & doesn't do this type

of repairs, he referred me to a Midas shop where he knows someone there,

I have been there in the past & found them to be very "sales oriented"

I guess you could say,to their advantage, but my mechanic has a friend there so maybe that will help & its kind of a different situation.

Looking at this chart above, any ideas on what the problem is, approximate cost, or any other input appreciated. Thanks!
