Am I right to suspect my pre-pump is failing or weak? Symptons; car dies upon acceleration,main fuel pump is very noisy sometimes,#1 fuse going to fuel pump gets too warm-sometimes. Thing is the pre-pump is less than 1 year old and I know it is working-Hose in tank I can hear pump. I just replaced the pre-pump sock as it was dirty but alas it did not fix problem. I have replaced a bunch of the usual suspects is it time for the pre-pump again? Is there a good troubleshooter in my neck of the woods( Kilmarnock, Va ) who would work for food and beverage:) Thanks for the help.
