Droning... 700 1987

Hello all!

I have a droning/whining coming from under the car... It has 278,000 miles, and recently (within 10-20K miles) have replaced the center driveshaft bearing and the output shaft bearing in the trans. However my droning is coming back to haunt me... It is very noticable under full acceleration and is much quieter under easy freeway crusing. If I simply step on the accelerator going on the freeway, it makes the whine/drone noise.

Any input?
