Engine Removal Help 700 1988

HI, I have a 1988 740 with a B230F engine Non-Turbo. My son cooked the engine this spring and I am trying to get it back on the road. I have done most everything on a Volvo except this project. I have a Haynes manual but it does not seem to provide complete information nor does it give the hints and tricks that people who have done this before know. Does anyone have any good caveats, tips, tricks, or warnings on this job. Also is there any good manuals anyone knows about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
