Finally got around to putting that B20E in our 142s, the 7/8 freeze plugs fitted the injector holes. This motor had been sitting around the garage for 3 years or so, it's out of a '74 145 auto that was hand painted with a paint brush, rusty, but had a sweet motor. I picked it up for $120 with a full tank of petrol. We got the motor in and gave it a squirt of 'Aerostart', it fired up first turn of the key, and the performance is a big increase over the tired B20A. I read that the B20E has 'Stellite' valve seats which will allow it to run on high unleaded, is this true? Matt.
