The car is a Canadian '82 with the B23E engine and the Pulseair emission control. The pipe I am referring to is at the firewall side of the manifold, just below the fourth runner, is about 8 inches long with a right angle in it. The end of the pipe is flattened and is folded over. It is not attached to the emission control piping. There is something almost identical threaded into the underside of the intake manifold. What is the purpose of these seemingly purposeless things? Anybody know? The one in the exhaust is corroded and creating a leak, which has resisted any muffler cement/wire gauze/aluminum tape I can throw at it. Thanks ben
