Hello All,
I have the chance to purchase a nearly rust free(just a bit around the windshield),4 speed/OD,black leather interior,completely stock,mechanically sound 74 142GL for around $800. I know the 74 B20 and the M41 are of value for performance upgrades for older volvos. My question is do I buy the car for the engine and tranny or do I have it repainted the stock color and sell it. One of the PO's painted it blue. I have lots of old Volvo's the newest being a 66 122s and guess I'd hate to see this car end up being an unknowing someone's beater.
