Is the 960 a good car to buy? 900 1995

I have a chance to purchase a 1995 960 for $5000. It has 112,000 miles on it, and is in great condition, as far as I can tell. Is this a good Volvo model to buy? What should I check in order to avoid buying into problems? What particular problems are these models known for? I test drove it, and really liked the ride, acceleration, and comfort features. Thanks for your help.
