I'm back, with a Volvo! 200 1988

Hello Bricksters!

You might remember me from the summer when I posted here. I recieved some good responses to my queries, but felt a bit of an imposter here as I had no Volvo.

However. This has all changed. I have just acquired a UK spec 1988 240GL sedan in Dark Blue with Beige 'Trico' interior for £205 ($310) on eBay.co.uk. I was one of only two bidders. I have been looking for a nice 240 for a long time.

The car is a B200E, 5 speed stick shifter with only 125,000 genuine miles on the odo has gleaming paint work, a very nice interior (Seemingly no optional extras at all) and little/no body rust. It appears to have been looked after over the last 14 years and should have plenty of life left in it. I take delivery proper next week and will give you my thoughts on the car then.

What do other people think of the 1988 models?

I am a car man, but have never had a Brick before so I will doubtless ask lots of questions, and will try to offer my expertise in return.
