Well, you know ..... I had just about come to the decision to swap in the B20F with only 65,000 miles on it that I have standing by in my barn when Ole Reliable decided it for me tonight and from what I can tell blew a head gasket .... guess that now's the time ... well this weekend at least .... hope that the weather is reasonable as I parked the old girl under the "official Shade Tree" in order to lift this engine out and drop the B20F in .... guess that I really can't complain ... besides not doing any good at all, but this engine does have in excess of 500,000 miles on it and had already eaten one camshaft. This engine definitely didn't have the care and attention that the original B18 had which destroyed itself at about 1,000,000 miles somewhere in the middle of the New Mexico desert with the original owner at the wheel. Soooooo if any of you guys are in the vicinity of Windsor, Nova Scotia this weekend and find yourself with too much time on your hands and feel like getting them dirty .... drop me a note .... will be getting in a good supply of Alexander Keith's Finest India Pale Ale ....... ( far better octane rating than that watered down stuff you call beer south of the 49th ..... )
