'90 740 auto with Rex/Regina system, 260,000 km.
Fuel pump died couple weeks ago and was replaced. Car worked fine for maybe a week, then took long (~10 seconds) cranking time to start. Diagnostic code 3-2-1 pointed to auxiliary relay, so I swapped it out, also the fuel injector relay. Problem fixed, car starts well, runs well, wife happy.
But the 3-2-1 code keeps recurring. I also noticed the up arrow indicator light (overdrive) does not come on with all the others when I first turn on the ignition. Is this related?
I've wiggled connectors and cleaned up ground connections.
Any ideas where to look next? I've got a pollution test coming next month & would like to fix this before then.
As always, thanks. The advice here is unbeatable.
