Forgive me Chris... 700 1990

"...the Radio Suppression Relay actually just puts power to the injectors, and it's the ECU that opens them via a common ground..."

Right. My thinking was that if there was no power from the relay to the injector (and in turn from the injector to the CPU), it would throw a 3-2-1.

My 90 740 Regina has a sticker in the door jamb that says it received a Cold Start modification under the original ownership. (We bought it second hand.) I was always under the impression that it was a mod to the CPU itself, however a simple rewire of the ground makes sense. This means the Cold Start Injector operates even during warm restarts?? My understanding is that in their original configuration, they only got a cold shot if the ambient temp was down around 0.

Lately our car requires more cranking to start cold. The wierd thing is that if it sits for about a week to 10 days like at the airport. it will fire up in a micro-second.
