This problem is killing me. I have a 1989 740 GL. The car will run great for 2 or 3 miles and then gets real sluggish where it will hardly move. If I shut it off and restart the problem goes away but will come back in another couple of miles. I checked everything i could except the fuel pump pressure because I do not have a gauge. I replaced the computer, air mass meter, plugs, wires and all adjustments were made. Do you think it is in the fuel pump?? or in the ignition ?? and why does it fix itself when I shut the car off and restart?? I have less problems with my 1960 pv544.. Please, please help, Thanks,, Marc..
