240 VS. 740

I need your opinion,I have a opportunity to purchase either a 1993 240 wagon 135k miles or a 1990 740 wagon with 150,000 miles.
Which do you think is a better more reliable vehicle?
Both are in very good condition,asking price 740-$2800 , 240 $3800.
Please help with my decision !!
Both are non turbo
