240 VS. 740

I'd say, buy the 93 240.

I have had 240s (240s times many) and 740s, and 940s. While I prefer driving the 940 because it is quieter and to me is more comfortable, the 240 is a fantastic car. I have driven easily 250,000 240-miles, and I'm none the worse for wear.

The benefits of the 93 240 are, it has ABS brakes (the 740 may have them). It has R134a air conditioning which is a heck of a lot cheaper to fix. And it is basically the top of the heap as far as the 240 series goes.
