heater core help for 740 700 1985

well its a great car and with 130k,there's still some life left.My windows fog up when I flip to defrost and slide temp setting over.I notice a mist come out vents and it smells like antifreeze-but not strong odor.NO LEAKS from looking at coolant overflow tank. HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE? Also I have used both FCPGroton for parts and eeuroparts.Where should I get heater core replacement? Would either outfit have OEM comparable replacement? Thanks mark
