1991 940 turbo farts when started very cold 900 1991

My 1991 940 turbo sedan makes a loud farting sound for about 2-4
seconds when started below 10 degrees F. Goes away but cannot
figure what is causing it. It seems to be on the drivers side
of the engine compartment.
