My 1989 240DL has a very bright right tail light. It is the brake/tail light.
I replaced both bulbs with 1157s out of the same package. No change. The bulb failure light on the instrument cluster has been on for some time, but the bright tail/brake light is new. Any suggestions are appreciated.
