In tank wiring problem 700 1988

The wiring broke off right at the in-tank housing. I was going to swap out the one from my 86 760T but there are three separate wires going through the housing instead of one cluster of three and the plug in the trunk is different. Will this swap work if I change the plug in the trunk? If not, where can I get a housing other than Volvo? The pump worked until this wiring broke off.
