In tank wiring problem 700 1988

You know it all seems to work well. But I find the presence of electronics (ie tank pumps and sending units) in the gas tank troubling. I replaced the tank pump on my 760 a month or so ago. I was amazed at what was being put in a potentially explosive environment.

I agree with RonJon's post. Change the wiring, if possible, on the sender unit.
