The brake master cylinder in my red wagon has been bad for a while, and I have a spare but havn't got around to changing it... lazy. I've just been adding fluid once a week or so.
Well, this morning the brakes got squishy, so I pulled over to add some fluid..left the engine running. The rear section of the reservoir was empty as expected. As soon as the front section was full, fluid of course made it to the rear section, and the engine slowed down.
Now obviously its time to change the thing, but is it at all possible that the old master cylinder could be so bad as to cause that much of a vaccuum leak as to slow teh idle down??? Or was it likely just a coincidence?
Just sorta thought it odd that it could be that bad, and still work at all.
