My 940 Turbo was hesitating recently until I picked speed, then seemed to run fine. Finally, as I was making a turn from a stop, it died, and I could not get it started again. I determined that the air induction hose from the mass air sensor in the breather, going to the turbo had worked loose after the clamp slipped off the edge. Repaired the problem, but it still will not start. I have determined that the spark is getting to the plugs, and the injectors are cycling determined by a clicking sound as the system goes through the ignition cycle. I have tried starting fluid sprayed into the induction hose with no success. This problem occurred once before, and starting fluid worked. I know volvos are extremely sensitive to air/fuel mixture. Could the computer be causing my problem; and is there a way to clear the computer control of the ignition/fuel system to allow it to start? Thanks for any advice you can give.
