My other car is in the shop, so I was forced to commute to work in the 57' PV (B18 engine) all week. Four days in a row, 70 miles RT/day. It's 85 degrees in the morning on the drive in and 95-105 in the afternoon on the drive back. Amazingly, the car did not overheat...nor did I have any other problems. I did notice a slight burning smell when deaccelerating in 4th gear (going from 65 to 55 for example). If I accelerate again, no burning smell.
Anybody know what this is?
I am also curious to know if there are any daily drivers out there, and if so what's their commute?
