I guess I should add that the muffler fell off over a year ago. Maybe I'm smelling exhaust fumes as I slow down?

Radiator fluid? hmmmmmmmm. I have flushed my radiator many times, I do it on a regular schedule now because there is just something disturbing about that rusty water that never runs clear. You would think that this would be enough to cause the car to overheat...

I drove home from work today, 35 miles, 106 degrees and still the car does not overheat (although the temp gage is pegged just below H = pull over! mark)

Fun? Oh yes. I don't know about driving the car well, though.
