Well, the Dastardly deed is did .... sure helps when you have help that knows what they are doing !! About 1 pm Mike McCulloch arrived from New Glasgow and James "Pidge" Partridge from Falmouth descended on my place and with Iain and my help we had Ole Reliable's Heart removed and loaded on the trailer for her trip to Dartmouth in 2 1/2 hours total .... even managed to get it dropped off before closing time on the day before CANADA DAY tomorrow ..... but I DID forget to take the new cam, lifters and rear seal with us so looks like that means another trip into town on Friday. SO FAR it is looking good that we won't have to bore it .... just a hone job and new rings ... but will find out more on Friday after they have a chance to measure the bores .... but there is no BIG ridge to be felt at the tops of the cylinders.
