bucking temperature 200

Hello -its the '80 245 k-jet m46

The temperature dropped below 70degrees this morning and for the first time in a while the car didnt buck, it had a little hesitation - but was drivable!

I kind of knew this was going to happen, as it is a recurring problem, but I was trying to rule out temperature as a factor that could affect the driveability so drastically.

What do you guys think?

Is there something in this system that is that sensitive? Around 70degrees seems to be the cut-off point for being able to drive it. The power stage heatsink in an earlier post sounds interesting, does my car have one?
