Morning,

I have a 1992 240 that just turned 210,000. For the past month I've had to be very careful backing up (had to wait for reserve to engage)...this morning the on a short drive the old girl wouln't leave second gear. Also, when I first left my house the accellerator was very firm feeling. Not normal. Any suggestions? Is this the big tranny fix? If so...what should I expect to pay to have my transmission fixed or replaced.
