The local pick n pull has a decent windshield in a 240 that I want to pull to replace the cracked & pittred one in my 84 240 wagon.

Whats the best way to get the windshield out of the donor car without damaging or cracking it? I know from experience that trying to pry it out only results in cracked glass.
