Installing 'A' grind cam, second post, another question.. 200 1986

When the cam is in, torqued, oiled and ready to turn over, I will check the valve lash - with what? I have a feeler gauge, will that do?

Dick (nearby brick owner) has me a bit worried about having a valve be too tight. Can I test with my feeler gauge to reveal that?

Last time I set valve lash was on a 390 Ford V8 with rocker arms. 'Nother century.

Thanks again, people.

Bob
