Does anybody have an opinion on using Monroe shocks for their 244? They're available at any parts store and are cheap, about $110 for all 4. I've read a lot about the Bilstein, Boge, etc here on Brickboard but they're a little pricey.

I've used Monroe on many other vehicles in the past and have never really had a problem with them. At this point, my suspension is in pretty rough shape, sagging, etc. and it seems like almost anything would be an improvement. But, if these shocks are junk, I don't want to be doing the job again in 6 months.

Or better yet, who has the best price on some of the better brands of shocks I could possibly buy for close to the same price? Thanks.
