since I have the xmember out, I plan to replace the motor mounts, wondering what brands give acceptible service life? I'll just get some from my local store if they work ok.

I have a diesel, are the mounts the same as gas? mine are not hydraulic.

Also if I grab the back U joint, and shake it up and down, I can move the tailshaft about an inch....
I am young and healthy, but no gorilla...is this how they are supposed to be?

It's not dark yet, so I'm going outside to cut the left mout bracket off the old crossmember, and see if I can weld it to the right part of the new one.
