EZK Power Stage? 700

Sounds like you have worthy vehicle.

I don't know how you measure pulsed voltages - it is so dependent on meter type what you will see, but I have some scope traces of that signal on EZ116K; it is 0-12V square; the dwell angle is the duty cycle. The power stage is just the final amplifier that drives the coil, no logic or anything.

On those wiring diagrams, it looks like black may be a shield in the gray cable - my measurements were made at the EZK computer under the glovebox on the firewall of a 240, so I wasn't paying much mind to the power stage wiring.

I hope this doesn't divert you because this is from an entirely different car: The parts are shown, then the idling signal from the flex plate tone ring on bottom, ignition signal on top (notice trigger on blank holes is 90 btdc).
