940 electric sunroof (different problem!) 900

Ok, I've read all of the faqs and posts on this subject and didn't find anything like what happened to mine. My sunroof has worked (albeit a *bit* roughly) fine since I've had the car, but tonight, in the dark, the day before "drenching" rain for three days, it got stuck.

It was closing normally, but about 3 inches from the full closed position, the panel stopped but the motor kept going. It sounds like the gears are losing full contact with one another. I was able to push the panel forward while holding the button to get it mostly closed.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm afraid that it is going to leak tomorrow (and the next day, and the next day), but I don't want to take it apart tonight without knowing what parts I need for fear of making it worse.

Thanks,
-erik
