-Fixed !!!! HALL UNIT 700 1986

When to the local auto recycler, got another distributor and ignition amp- $100.
Plugged the distributor to the three wire connector, key on, coil wire about 25mm from the block. Rotated the shaft and got both spark and injector and fuel pump action. Reinstalled everything. Started up just fine and the engine runs very very smooth thanks the new engine harness.

Near as I can tell, when I routed the new engine harness around the back of the block, I bumped the previously repaired connector at the bottom of the distributor. This caused the car not to run. Even though I repaired that with a new volvo connector, the Hall unit must have been damaged.

Good puzzle, learned more than I need to about Volvo ignitions. So the wire harness took about 3 hours to install, the trouble shooting on the ignition took me several nights over the past week.
