How to replace wagon taillights 200 1989

Yes, the two nuts unscrew from the inside. I used a needle-nose pliers as I didn't have a deep socket. Worked OK. Then the housing pulls off from outside. If you don't have a new gasket you will need to be careful not to tear the old one.

I replaced the whole assembly - not just the clear colored plastic.

Be careful not to switch bulb holders from left to right. They're different (some are black + some white) and apparently it doesn't work right if you change them.
