Herb, the local $tealership you mention is making a hefty profit on those filters. Consider they are getting the same filter you are for minimum $3.50 so even considering the exchange there's a hefty markup.

I'm just waiting for my case of 10 from eeuroparts.

BTW also agree the fellow can go longer on synthetic assuming he's not qualifying as Severe service.
