Split window 1953 444 on Ebay 444-544 1958

It is nice. But it's funny... After thinking about it some, I think I'd rather restore a PV that was in worse shape than this [like mine]. I mean, to restore her, most of the parts will have to be removed anyway, cleaned, stripped, repainted, reconditioned, replaced, etc. So, might as well be something that is already pretty much shot, with completely used/worn parts, no? I would not like having half-worn parts then have to decide if it goes back on the car or not. Does this make sense? Probably not. I guess that's what happens when you're up-to-your-neck in a PV restoration. You start to get mental problems. (Or maybe I already had mental problems which is why I took on this project??) :) I only wish mine looked half as good as this - but someday it will look better!
