hi-low beam modification/ checking a relay 120-130

Hi Damian,

First off, does the relay click when you pull the stalk? If not the problem is on the input side of the relay -- the stalk itself or the wiring. If it does click, proceed.

You may need to take the relay loose so you can see the terminal numbers. The outputs to the lights are numbered 51a and 51b. It doesn't matter which is the high and which is the low beams.

Swap the wires on those terminals, and see if that gives you high beams and no low beams. If so, the problem is the relay. If it makes no difference, the problem is the wiring to the high beams.
