Hi Lee,
I think page 13 of your 122/1800 Haynes manual would help in identifying valves for pushrod motors. Of course you'll want to have a good set of measuring calipers around.
Do you think you ended up with any OHC valves?
As a general rule...now let's see if I remember this right...the B20 valves would have a three-stepped recess at the top for the keepers, whereas the B18 valves would have no steps in that wide notch.
