Another fuel mileage question 700

My ' 84 760 Turbo has recently started using more fuel than usual. On the highway, I got 25 mpg and up depending on driving style and speed. Now, I'm getting around 18 on the same trip. The O2 sensor is new as well. Mileage is 162K on the original turbo. I run M1 synthetic and have been adding a quart every 500 miles, but it's not leaking and I don't see any smoke from the exhaust. Any thoughts/suggestions?
