85 turbo with blown 4speed o.d. tranny...should i put in a 5 speed? 200

well,i suspect the tranny is gone,but then i haven't removed it yet,my 89 240 i bought cheap because the volvo mechanic told him the tranny was bad...it was just the pilot bearing...i know the 5 speeds get a bad rap but they are so much lighter than the 4speed o.d. 's...which brings up another point...i plan on pulling the engine and tranny together ...or is there some way for one person to wrestle the beast of a transmission and get it to go in easily...i have not...the transmission adapter from harbor freight did not help because of the twist the volvo transmission needs to get it in...any feedback ?...Kris
