Relay buzzing (relay rapidly picking and dropping) can be due to resistance anywhere in the coil voltage path. Might be the relay connections, as you say. Or all the way back to the source — the 25 amp fuse that Yama mentions. That includes the fuse holder & connections, and feed wire connection at Battery + terminal.
