Need Help Sorting Some Things 140-160

That would work if the car had adjustable drag links, but a '69 probably has fixed length drag links and an adjustable tie rod separating them. In that case, adjusting the steering wheel by turning the tie rod will change the toe in/out.
That's why I made the adjustment at the steering box spline on mine.

True, a good alignment shop should have done that. Unfortunately a lot of tire shops that advertise a "free alignment" with the purchase of tires but don't have the qualified people there to do the work.
