Replacing the Transmission mount S90-V90 1998

I just did this last week on our 98 S90. It's a piece of cake. I ordered a Volvo OE mount from FCP Groton. It was $56.50 plus about $6 Shipping. Arrived in 4 business days. You can get off brands much cheaper if you like.

As others have said. Jack the front of the car up. Use jack stands in addition to the jack(s) for safety.

Place a 2x6 or 2x8 board, flat under the trans pan and place a jack under it to hold the weight of the drivetrain.

Remove 3 - 10mm bolts holding the O2 wiring harness.
Remove 1 - 14(?)mm bolt in the center of the mount
Remove 4 - 15(?)mm bolts holding the crossmember in
Remove 2 - 12(?)mm bolts holding the mount to the crossmember.

Reverse to install.

I could not find a torque spec for the bolts but they were on fairly tight so I torqued the 14 & 15mm bolts to 39 ft./lbs.
